I’d really like to take a one-to-two-week-long vacation, check into an Embassy Suites with a laptop, and just replay this entire series.  Interspersed, of course, with the games from this series:

…as well as pretty much every other adventure game that Sierra released in the 90s.

I more or less stopped playing videogames when I started playing guitar.  Obviously, I don’t regret that decision at all.  But every once in a while, I have an overwhelming desire to regress to my childhood and play story-driven adventure and action games on a small CRT monitor.

While printing out a ton of labels at the dayjob, I found this.  My best guess pegs it as circa the early 1990s.
Remember when printers looked like that?  Looking at those printers makes me feel like my computer screen should have been displaying King’s Quest V.

So, for Christmas, my sister gave me a “gift certificate”-style pledge that she would buy me some sort of electronic toy drum kit to add to my collection of late-80s/early-90s toy instruments.
I just won one of these guys on eBay.
I am going to make so many cool videos with this thing.
