So, here’s the deal, Morgan and I both went to Northwestern University, and we used to sing together in this kick-ass a cappella group called Purple Haze.  After we graduated, I hung around Chicago, and have been making a name for myself in music from here.  Morgan moved to New York, spent some time on Broadway (specifically, he was in Spring Awakening) and has generally been a major hotshot on the East Coast.

On Monday, we’re reuniting for an epic concert of epicness.  Purple Haze is opening for us.  Morgan is releasing his brand new EP of original music.  There are going to be collaborations, not entirely unlike the video above, and we may or may not (hint: we definitely are) close out the whole night by bringing the current members of Purple Haze onstage and singing something super-pretty and awesome.

It will be SO much fun, and SUCH a happy, love-filled night.  I know that I talk a big game about all of my shows, but that’s because I’m very choosy about when and where I perform so that I can always promise an amazing experience.  And I wholeheartedly promise that Monday night will be an amazing experience.
