Just noticed this post now, and the deadline has technically passed, but I know Laura pretty damn well, and I’m fairly certain that when she calls the deadline “flexible” she means the to the fullest extent of the word.

Plus, the track is coming out so so so soon!  Written, performed and sung by Laura.  Recorded/engineered by me, and co-produced by Laura Green & Matt Ryd.  It’s a great taste of the additional awesome that is yet to come, and I’m convinced that it will get stuck in your head in the best way possible.

Oh! Oh hai der! Guess what? The release of “Jezebel: fall” « part 1 of 4, is coming soon! Ok, its only one song since (ahem) it was the only song I wrote last fall. Nbd. BUT there will be a music video, and I need your help.
The song is called OUR LULLABY and its about the final days of a relationship, when you say the worst things and aren’t willing to listen to the best. Among other things. What I’m looking for is real content from real meaningful relationships that have ended. Everyone has something they wish the could say to their ex…I’m sorry…thank you…I loved you…I still love you…I miss you…I forgive you…please forgive me…where are you…be happy… What I’d like is a photo with a small note to the other person. You can block the faces or don’t. It can just be a photo, or a video, or just a note. Get creative. Draw something. Anything. it can be anonymous, or not. Whatever. I will put a few restrictions on this: no hate. I will not use something that says “fuck you” or “you ruined my life.” As tempting and cathartic as it may be, this is your chance to take the high road. Instead of “you’re an asshole” try “an apology works wonders.” This is your chance to maybe find a little peace. Don’t waste it with hate. Also, please make sure this is content that YOU OWN. If you feel the other person will be unhappy with their image being public, just block their face or eyes out. When you send me this content, you will have agreed to let me use it. Please don’t send me something you’ll regret. Get me? Submissions are due Dec. 1st. (but I’m REALLY flexible with that…) Tell your friends. Different regions and languages are great. And no one is excluded based on age, sex, race or sexuality. this is your chance to say something. Be courageous.
